Learn about Maryam

I didn't plan to become an expert in professional skills development. I became one because I had to.

I rebuilt my career four times — from Tehran to San Francisco, London, New York, and Mexico City. Each time starting over in a new country, a new industry, or both. Each time learning that technical expertise alone doesn't determine how far you go.

What determines it is how you communicate under pressure, how you make decisions in ambiguous situations, and how you earn trust in rooms that weren't designed with you in mind.

That perspective now shapes how I work with client-facing teams across financial services, technology, and consulting.

My work today draws from experience across industry, management consulting, executive education, and startup advisory.

I partner closely with HR and L&D teams to design and deliver practical, applied learning aligned to real organizational priorities — not abstract frameworks.

I have worked with financial institutions, technology, consulting firms, universities, and government organizations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America — from analyst to C-suite.

As a Senior Lecturer, I teach executive and graduate programs at various universities, focused on leadership, strategy, and professional skills in real workplace contexts.
