My Story

I grew up in Tehran, Iran. My professional life began there too — leading strategy and operations for Glencore, one of the world's largest commodities trading companies, focused on metals and minerals across the region.

In 2000, I moved to the United States. Starting over in a new country, a new culture, a new professional context. I settled first in Denver, then San Francisco, where I went back to school, studied business, and built a new career at First Republic Bank managing relationships with high-net-worth clients.

When the 2009 economic downturn hit, I moved to London and built a consulting practice from scratch. I took classes, learned new skills, and kept going.

I came back to the US in 2012 and went back to school again — this time earning a master's degree in integrated marketing with a concentration in data analytics from NYU. I then joined IBM's management consulting arm, advising global clients on innovation, digital transformation, and people strategy. An entirely new industry. Learned from the inside.

In 2019 I founded Innovation Bazar — and since then have worked with organizations and professionals across Vietnam, Mexico, Germany, the Middle East, and beyond. I have taught at universities, advised startups, spoken at international conferences, and contributed to Forbes and Harvard Business Review.

I have rebuilt myself more than once — across cities, countries, industries, and identities. Each time deliberately. Each time by learning, adapting, and moving forward.

That is the experience I bring to this coaching.
