My Story
My own career has unfolded across four countries, three industries, and multiple professional reinventions.
I began my career in Tehran, Iran, working in strategy and operations with Glencore. In 2000, I relocated to the United States and successfully rebuilt my career in financial services, managing high-net-worth client portfolios at First Republic Bank.
Following the 2008 financial crisis—a period of intense market volatility—I moved to London, stepped onto the balcony to assess the shifting landscape, and established a successful independent consulting practice. A few years later, I returned to the United States, completed my graduate studies, and joined IBM Consulting, where I advised global organizations on large-scale innovation strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
In 2019, I synthesized these experiences to found Innovation Bazar.
Each milestone required starting over—in a new country, a new industry, or both. Those chapters taught me firsthand that structural clarity rarely arrives before change. It develops through highly intentional decision-making, systemic adaptability, and the courage to execute even when the path forward is completely unclear.
That lived perspective shapes how I partner with and coach international leaders today.
